Thinking Out Loud!

Isaiah 55:8-9

A penny for your thoughts Lord? What are you thinking of? What’s on your mind? How are you seeing the world at this very moment?

Don’t you just wish God could think out loud!!?? If only we could take a sneak peek at His heavenly thoughts and see how He sees our lives and the world right now. Wouldn’t life be much easier knowing exactly what God was planning for us?

We usually want God to do things for us in a certain way and to answer our prayers immediately. We give Him our terms and conditions and put Him in a box forgetting that He is the creator of the universe! He was there in the beninging!! He is the Alpha and Omega! The beginning and the end! Surely we need to learn to trust Him a little bit more! We constantly need to commit our ways to the Lord and trust His thoughts and plans for us even though we can’t see or understand them! He always has something bigger and better in mind! Something more than what we can ever think, imagine or dream!

When I read that verse last night it gave me peace. Some things might not make sense to me right now but thank heavens I serve an infinite God who never runs out of ideas! I might not be where I want to be in life but I know God cares for me and He has an amazing plan for me to prosper! I might fail to achieve my plans and dreams but God knows best! He makes a way where there seems to be no way. He goes before me and makes ALL my paths straight. How precious are His thoughts about me! God is always thinking about you and His perfect plans for you! You may not know what He is thinking, but choose to trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him and He will make your paths straight! ALL things are working together for your good!

Think of the best thing that could happen to you right now. Yea, God can top that too!!
